Plants, flowers

Flowers are important to me, but not cut flowers. See something beautiful alive and growing so cut it and take it inside? Isn't that sadistic?
Some of these photos are plants from our old house. Some are holiday snaps.
Cat's whiskers seems to grow almost everywhere.

This was in a garden in Brisbane. Amazing flowers.
Good old wattle.

One year the Happy Plant produced flowers.
The only time in twenty years.
This plant is colourful and extremely hardy.
The flowers are a bonus. Always a surprise.
Feral orchid. The birds must have dropped it.
I noticed it in many gardens in our old suburban haunts.

A lovely ginger I had to leave behind.
